Work is so restful in comparison!

Hi guys

Couple of days without a message - the weekends are really busy. Mark you are the only one who doesn't know that I didn't get the job I was being interviewed for last week. Not stressed by it. Do have another screening interview this week for another role - and in many ways I am happy where I am. Tony is also talking about making a job application - he has been head hunted which is flattering but no guarantee.

Friday night we were at the opening of the Margaret Little charity art exhibition - charity you will be surprised to know was Arthritis. Held in the offices we had sold the day before. Marg was really thrilled with the response - her first exhibition in NZ for some years and she sold a fair bit. We have 2 new pictures to frame as a result of the weekend!

Jenny and Peter Oliver were over for the weekend to see Simon - so we had a little bit of time with them. Today was the Round The Bays walk which I did again - the sciatic pain in my leg was a real barrier - but I finished and I think a little faster than last year but been sore all day. The fastest woman came home in 23mins - I took about 4 times that! With around 12,500 people in the event it was a huge thing. Can you see me in the picture - white T shirt

Lily still needed a walk so did a short beach jaunt with her this pm.

John and Marg Little and the Eleys came for dinner so all in all quite a busy weekend!

Glad tomorrow is Monday and I can go back to the comparative normality of work.

Tomorrow night Tony and I are off to the first of our Arts Festival events a dance troupe Parabelo/Onqoto - a Brazilian troupe that is meant to be ballet with the passion of Brazilian street dancers.I think we are looking forward to it - should stretch us just a little.
