A Handyman's dream

When we drive along Middleton Rd we can see a v run down house that we have often questioned whether it is occupied. Maria used to swear she had seen a man sitting naked on the porch - and now we can say this has some validity . . .What we didn't know was that this house was the scene of a crime of passion

In 1956 the man who lived in the house with his wife shot his wife's lover as the two of them were trying to escape.

Max, the house owner, was eventually convicted of manslaughter due to extreme provocation. Judge was sympathetic and Max got sentenced to only one year in prison.

Upon release he moved back to family home in Middleton Rd and there he stayed, living a reclusive life, occasionally coming out naked onto porch to sunbathe. This would have been Maria's vision.

Although the guy in front of this house looks creepy and strange it us in fact the lawyer who defended Max - with legal representation like this who could fail . . .

I do wonder who would ever want to buy it - it has indoor outdoor flow and original condition - which if you say it with enthusiasm can sound like a good thing.
