Won't stop the wonderful crab explorations nor the Hector's dolphin trips on the boat
I guess you now have to take a picnic if you visit Akaroa
It has been ages since we went to Akaroa but none the less we were saddened yesterday to hear that the bakery was destroyed by fire. W have had many a lunch at that bakery in years gone by.
Not only the bakery but earlier this year the fish and chip shop was also destroyed by fire. That of course was our second favourite eating place.
I understand the dolphins escaped the fires (Dad)
