Two posts today - saw this and although a bit OTT I think I agree with general sentiment on forgivenessForgive them even if they are not sorry
Forgive even though you do not condone what unfolded
Forgive the situation even though it is absolutely not what you want
Forgive to give yourself peace - not because other person deserves it
Forgive so you aren't trapped in the past
Forgive so the damage doesn't overwhelm your future
Forgive because it is better for your soul than hate
