Entitle-itis

One more sleep till we are in our way to join up with the family. Very excited - though at the stage where we feel a bit overwhelmed by what has to be achieved in next 24 hours.Today I was at a presentation by Glenda Hughes. In my youth Glenda was an athlete - represented NZ at Commonweath Games. I recall her as a shot putter although she originally trained in the pentathlon. Originally trained as computer programmer, then spent 18 years as frontline policewoman and the next 20 years as media manager for high profile athletes. Spoke very well. She is one of the 52 women who wrote a piece in the book we gave Nana "Stroppy Women"

Spoke about her view of a modern disease- Entitleitis- where people of all ages feel they are entitled to act badly just because. Was a good presentation actually.
