Delegation has its drawbacks

I am signed into Maria's computer - this is Sandra writing under a pseudonym:-)

Seems only right as Maria pointed out the article that needed to be added to the blog - nearly as good as the cat facts!

So the very posh school that Maeve goes to has a senior girls rowing team. The are doing well and it is the final season for some of the team - being Year 12 (7th form) One of the girl's has a daddy who works in advertising so he arranges to get commemorative book made for rowing team. Delegates task to subordinate. But he is obviously a better daddy than he is a boss - staff member feeling ever so slightly pissed off with boss and draws a cartoon penis on one of the photos. Book gets published and distributed at end of rowing season function. The defaced image was soon discovered by one of the girls - father is trying to play this down saying." you know what young girls are like, they sort of laugh at it and move on.'' I don't tik teenage girls from Dio are that different to other girls but alugh and move on is the last thing I think will happen. I also imagine the 40 books are quite a hot property right now!

There is a moral - if you delegate a task you do need to check quality before it is signed off!
