I'm not sure if dad had any priceless records amongst the ones I broke with my trainer-walker as a child but I suspect nothing I broke could have been as valuable as the $1.5 million, 350 year old painting a boy in Taiwan tripped and put his hand through at a museum today. Luckily, his family will not be asked to pay for the painting! The article refers to the incident as a 'slapstick nightmare' though I must say the incident they mention where a man tripped over his shoelaces and destroyed three priceless ancient Chinese vases sounds more like the cartoons of my youth!
