Waiting for the bus in style

Over the last month or so our journey to work in the morning has been brightened by artworks - one official; one not. So Wellinton City Council has spent thousands of dollars decorating one bus shelter on Onslow Rd. Looks v pretty

Further down Onslow Rd another bus shelter has also been painted. Hasn't cost Council anything and some people feel there is more artistic merit in it. Graffiti artist in the style of Banksie has decorated the second shelter with a picture of Hurricane Julian Savea nicknamed "the Bus" Slogan says "Here comes the bus" - double entendre even better than a pun
