Writing this from the camp for children with arthritis and their families. We are in Matamata - not strictly true as we are about 10km out of Matamata but close. Setting is amazing campsite has pool from natural hot spring, the longest water slide in NZ, go karts, bmx trails and other activities that have kept the children aged 2 to 20+ very happy.

This is a bit disjointed because I kep getting interrupted.

There are around 100 people here of whom 45 are children/ young people with arthritis. The age range and degree of disability is much greater than last year. There are more wheelchairs and sticks. Stephen, who used to work with Tony, and Natasha his wife have been at the camp all weekend. Natasha as a volunteer and Stephen leading workshops with al the different groups as an Educational Psychologist. They have been great Nd Stephen had the parent group last night laughing and crying. I'm sure I'll be adding photos but for now I am off because being here does matter!
