Good morning everyone,
Last night I had dinner with Liz, Noel and the very happy couple pictured in the blog post below this one. They all seem very well and it was fantastic to spend some of Christmas with family! Nick and Pat have not set a date yet, nor a location but I am hoping for Victoria this time... for once I want to go to a wedding without needing to take leave from work! Nick and I talked a lot about cricket and AFL and have made tentative plans to see India when they come.
This is me 45 minutes into my last day at work before the long weekend; I believe I may have already mentally checked out, as you may be able to tell by the fact that I am posting on here rather than working! I turned off my 5.55am alarm this morning but I am hoping to be woken up around then tomorrow by a Hangout call from some people in Auckland.
My phone is 'working' but barely taking a charge and draining battery very quickly so I did not take any photos last night. Instead I will leave you with this cartoon I saw on Facebook:
