Could have fitted a couple more in the car.....if they traveled light

Staring out in Melbourne it was fantastic to see Adrian's flat! And a nice one it is too, although living there would be expensive for S & T because the amazimng market is two blocks away. Here he is in his lounge, with the door at the back leading into a very reasonable and tidy Adrian bedroom. Room to burn S & M!

our visit to Melbourne stared with arrival at 8am and Adrian working but we met him for lunch and got organised with our apartment (two upgrades equal spacious with extra bedroom, which Adrian used on the last night). We frequented the French bakery (Treat of France) next door, one of surprisingly many places we found that make good coffee, and found other shelter from what was Melbourne's coldest day in the year. Interestingly, while the temperature is in single figures today in Wellington, the southerly makes it far colder.

The picture above is at the market where sandra dominates the field of influential Australian entertainers/. Which one do you think will have to go?

Below our dominant mode of transport, the tram. It brings with it a topoic of conversation, especially on the trams as people try to work ouit how they can get to places in the city. I guess it must be the same in London. People revel in the chess like knowledge of which moves will lead to their destination. They are really ch.eap too. Hard to spend our $20 even with constant travel over two days. The last photo is my favourite, taken after the shop shopping expedition coming close to Southbank. A happy time amongst many.
