Raising a crooked finger

Billy's trade mark is the crooked finger (yes I've told you a million times it's due to his rheumatoid arthritis). If on average there are 12 wickets in a game, which is probably a little light, then his crooked finger has been raised 2,400 times

Not bad for a man who has sore shoulders

Today Billy Bowden is umpiring a 50 over match between Australia and NZ. The first time he umpired at a 50 over match was NZ vs Sri Lanka in 1995. Adrian you would have been 11.

Today is his 200th international game. One of only 3 umpires to achieve this.
