Brazilian can dance

We are just back from our first Arts Festival event and it was incredible - esp after we managed to change seats!

But once it started we were transfixed - the energy of the dancers was incredible. They weren't super young but so fit. Most of the women were slight and flexible. One or two were of more normal size and muscular. The men were universally v muscular. One of the men did a dance that really showed all the muscles in his shoulders and neck. As the dance ended he stood up and was revealed to be totally nude. We suspect the hundreds of teenage girls in the audience got their money's worth at that point!

This picture gives you an indication of the flexibility. I think this is a "don't try this at home"

I had booked what I thought were good seats (ie not cheap) and as we went to get them our heads were brushing the ceiling (well that is a slight exaggeration but Mark your would have been). Not only that but we were in seats that had a clear view right down to the stage - I got clammy and panicky just sitting down. After doors ahd closed we moved to seats that had not such a terrific view but had a safety rail so I wasn't going to be sick. As you look at this picture we were in the 3rd tier and originally 5 rows back.Poor Tony - he was quite OK but I was a quivering wreck
