Trains and boats and planes

According to Dionne Warwick trains and boats and planes They mean a trip to Paris or Rome for some. But not for meOr Adrian or Tony even. For us our holiday was about planes and boats and trains and trams and cars and even a bus.

You can see Tony's album which was posted today.

We learned a lot in the holiday

1. Jetstar check in at Melbourne looks much flasher and more helpful than their NZ counterparts but once through to gates the service and facilities were same or worse than NZ

2. I am in the "forgotten years". Too old for Easter eggs according to Adrian but too young to have people stand for me on public transport.

3. Maria and Adrian learnt different rules growing up in same family - my only Easter egg was waiting for my return Maria's rules say you are never too old for Easter eggs - I sense a greater Nana influence.đŸ˜€

4. A ferry trip is a ferry trip - we enjoyed getting on; the first hour or two with wonderful views of Tasmanian coastline. Ready to have it over by hour 3. This photo was taken from ferry of the sister ship travelling in opposite direction

5. Despite Adrian professing to hate them we are unable to stop making puns about anything and everything. Risk of being disowned is not sufficient deterrent. Adrian finds them quite punishing. (told you it's irresistible)

Was a great holiday for the 3 of us
