Could we train Lily to do this?

There is an article on Stuff about a black Labrador in Seattle that takes itself to the dog park.......by riding the bus. If the owner isn't ready to go, the dog goes by itself and it's 'owner' gets there when he can. Seems a very functional skill. The dog sits and watches for it's stop.

Only thing is, Lily would want to go several times a day. I wonder if drivers here would let her on.
