I have been very much counting my blessings over the last week. We have a close extended family who (mostly) enjoy spending time together.
Our three offspring are delightful adults with whom we spend many happy times - in reality and if not virtually
The two introduced family members have added new depth to our five some - and their respective families have welcomed us
We have many close friends who also enjoy spending time with us
We all gave jobs - and most of us enjoy what we do most of the time . . .
So tonight as you take a cup of kindness and sing "Auld Lang Syne" ( which is really all about drinking) raise a toast to family
