The XKCD survey and an idea for Nana

Hi everyone,

Using my lunch break to recommend you all follow the below link and take 5 - 10 minutes out of your day to take the xkcd survey.

xkcd is a a very very funny and clever website that has been around for as long as I can remember. The person that runs it makes very funny and nerdy webcomics about things like physics and computer programming but also ones like this:

He also has a 'What if...?" section where people ask him science questions that he answers as best as possible, with often hilarious results such as the case of the hairdryer in the box that destroyed much of North America.

I'm not sure what he has planned with the data collected from this survey but the chances are you will never have answered a series of questions quite like these before!

Finally, I had a conversation with an 89 year-old consumer in NSW today. Her scheduled carer had to cancel and she was very unwilling to have another carer unless they were "a young, dark-skinned man". I followed this odd request up with a colleague who advised that these were always the carers she requests: she has the carer take her to the casino and tells all and sundry that they are her boyfriend.

Anyone care to suggest the above to Nana?
