A new take on fast food

An artist duo in the US have created two art projects. One is maps made from food of the country. So Italy made from tomatoes; Brazil from limes. Wonder what they would make NZ from? Do you think Scotland would be made from haggis?

The map project is interesting but the guy took things a step or two further. He read an article about some Japanese children who fried their PSP. He does say that he doesn't have enough money to buy iPhones and other gadgets before frying them so he makes a realistic mock up from art foam then batters and deep fries. He says the significance is about the way we treat gadgets as throw away - just like fast food.
