Adrian has been navigating us round the city very effectively which makes us reflect on how settled he's become in 14 months. We are having a great time, not the least of which is because we are with family/ whanau.

We visited the Prahran market today...along with meeting Kate and David for breakfast and going to a very unsettling fringe festival play tonight, at the market we had one of the nicest meals we can remember. Beautiful falafel with fresh vegetables, a Hungarian potato cake, grilled flake and mussels, a place to take a vegetarian Mark.

The play was entitled City of Shadows and was in ten parts with forensic photos taken in the Melbourne of the twenties and thirties...bodies, street scenes, suspects with a powerful score of singer/ composer Rachael Dease and four viola and violin players. It was harrowing!
