Visitors for lunch

Today at work we had visitors at lunchtime - Neemia Tialata, former NZ rugby player now living in France, his wife and 2 children were in NZ and came to meet us so we could talk about the gout campaign Neemia fronted for us. He is incredibly shy but by the time we had spent an hour or so together he was quite relaxed. Lovely story of them meeting - they knew each other as high school students but Sally had rugby player boyfriend and wasn't interested in Neemia ( who was interested in her). Sally went to Dunedin to study pharmacy at Otago. Relationship didn't survive. Neemia went to Dunedin to play rugby and would wait for her at library . . . .Obviously worked. They now live in the very French Toulouse and have 2 year old Sadie and 5 week old Tayler. They were quite emotional talking about Jerry Collin's daughter Ayla - the 2 families were close with both women pregnant at same time. Neemia and Sally were the first people to visit baby Ayla after accident and stayed with her until the Canadian grandparents arrived.

Great lunch and busy social media since Neemia quite prolific social media user.
