Step we gaily

Today we visited the #1 attraction for Raglan  - the Bridal Veil Falls.  These are beautiful - set in native bush. The waterfall is 55m from top to bottom.  The first short walk takes you through bush This takes you to top of falls. Needless to say camera came out.
The options are to walk down 131 steps to midway point and another good view. After 262 steps down we were at the bottom with amazing view up the falls.
One of the highlights was the group of Mormons at the bottom complete with name tags that said "Elder Michael" and others Totally took me back to a theatre in London.
You have trust me on this but I am sure Tony has the pictures to prove we were there.
We managed the 500+ stairs up and down. Interestingly Tony's Fitbit shows he has 41 flights of stairs but I've done 26 flights. But my steps are way ahead of Tony's so not all bad.
Usually I find Trip Advisor to be quite useful but in a place the size of a Raglan the shortfalls become obvious - the #1 shopping attraction in Trip Advisor is the recycle centre at the tip . . . .
