Sir Bob Strikes Again

posted 2 Jul 2012, 20:03 by Adrian Kirby
Sorry to always be posting about NZ politics at the moment Mark but these are interesting times. Sir Bob Jones is a prominent NZer who I find incredibly amusing but have virtually never agreed with until now. Today he published a column in the Herald (http://www.nzherald.co.nz/opinion/news/article.cfm?c_id=466&objectid=10816918) coming out against the government's asset sales programme... but also in favour of hanging the unemployed. Oh well, you can't have everything.

Mark, a couple of years ago a tennant of one of Bob Jones' buldings, the Espresso Republic cafe on Featherston Street, shut down suddenly and a large sign from Sir Bob appeared in the window. I have attached a photo of it below:

The lesson appears to be "Don't mess with Sir Bob because Sir Bob don't play that game, son."
