One of a crowd

Am on my way to Chch for an afternoon and evening.  On the news onmy wayIheard that there were 48,737 New Zealanders who left to permanently live in Australia in the year to the end of July.

Struck me that I may not know 48,736 of them but I do know  that Adrian falls into this group.

Land of Oz

Wonder how many ofthe other 48,736 people have tested the reciprocal medical benefits scheme?

Actually for whatever reason this didn't upload at lunchtime so now on my way home but rest of message still relevant
Any of you who read this over the last 24 hours may note that numbers have increased - I heard net migration figures - so decreased by numbers of returning NZers and migrants the raw figure is much more depressing
