If he was migrating today would the US take him in?

A man admires the painting of Steve Jobs, the son of a Syrian migrant. As is often the case Bansky the artist has made a political point with one of his recent artworks in France

This mural shows Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple, carrying an early Apple computer and a bin bag of possessions- highlighting that he was the son of a Syrian migrant to the USA.  While true he is the son of Abdul Fattah Jandali, it is not quite true to say his family were migrants.  Abdul Jandali was studying in the USA, met and fell in love with German-American woman.  They got pregnant but Carol's father refused to let the couple get married so baby was adopted at birth.  He never actually met his biological father.

But let's not let the whole truth get in the way of some powerful imagery that does make a good political point - not that I think Donald Trump supporters would care
