Having a great time in New Plymouth.  So far we haven't done anything we have done on previous trips.  Been great.  Had a lovely Indian meal last night at a restaurant that had an incredible wall that is both a tribute to both Indian philosophers and Parihaka.  We did like the quote that said something like "Tolerance is very important in the world.  Being tolerant doesn't mean I have to accept that which I tolerate"
Tony's favorite quote on the wall was " when asked about his views on Western civilization Ghandhi replied "I think it would be good if there was some"

I was trying hard to find some of these quotes today, unsuccessfully it would seem. did come across another Ghandhi quote we both liked "I like your Christ.  Your Christians are not like your Christ.  It would be better if they were"

Tonight we head off to a French restaurant which we have seen good reviews.
You might be impressed with my pictures but I am  sure you will realise that Tony has more and miles better ones!
